Due to the new rules on food restrictions in the school campus, LFA has worked closely with the school to see how to make our Halloween celebration a successful event this year.
Halloween celebrations will only be for Primary school years. Kids are welcome to dress up with their costumes for the parade. For the costumes please make sure it's child friendly and not violent. Also nothing that simulates blood, or any weapons (that includes: bats, swords, knifes, guns etc...)
As there's the no food and no candy policy for trick and treat this year, instead of candy bags we would like to give out party bags with small items like toys, pencils, erasers, small tattoos (party bag stuffers again no foods or candy). We will be asking for donations by grade (primary parents only) to ensure small toys are age appropriate. More information will be provided to you by your homeroom parent and donations can be sent to your classroom through your children.
Decorating in the Primary school corridors and hallways will also be arranged. We are looking for volunteers for the Halloween event. To ensure that we are fully compliant with our safeguarding requirements of the school, all volunteers who are coming for decorating the school and classrooms please scan the following QR code.
LFA had its first luncheon on Friday at Ritz -Carlton. It was a very successful event. Thanks for parents who signed up and joined us for a fun afternoon! Great foods, great company with so much laughter to end our lunch in a memorable way.
