Words from Secondary

Words from Secondary

Mr. Jose Luis Menendez
Secondary Principal

Dear Families,

As this is the last newsletter of the semester, I want to take this opportunity to wish each of you a very happy and relaxing holiday season.  Some of you have already enjoyed the celebrations Hanukkah brings to Jewish families, and to those families, I hope it was a special one celebrating with friends and families.  Others will be celebrating the Christmas holidays in the coming weeks, while still others will be celebrating national holidays.  All in all, this season is about thinking more about others than about thinking about ourselves.

As this semester winds down, I want to thank you all for your continued support and partnership as we have navigated a semester of being back on campus in the midst of COVID.  Thank you for continuing to speak with your children about the importance of wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining distance as these measures only added to our ability to keep infections down.  As far as we know, we did not have a breakout of COVID infections emanating from campus!  Our infections have been low since the start of October, but we can’t let our guard down now.

For those of you traveling over the holiday season, I ask that you continue to protect yourselves against the virus.  Keep masks on, keep distance from others when possible and be sure all who can get vaccinated are vaccinated.

Again, may you all have a wonderful Holiday Season!

Onward and Upward,

Middle School Toy Drive 2021
