Pia De La Motte

Pia De La Motte

Dutch Language Teacher

Pia joined NAS Jakarta in August 2021. Originally from Antwerp, Belgium, Pia has worked as a primary school teacher in Antwerp as well as a support worker for children with disabilities. She also gained experience as a bridge figure between schools and parents. She has taken part in educational projects in Suriname, Europe and Sri Lanka. Bitten by the reading bug, and wanting to pass this on to the children, she took another course as a reading coach.

In her spare time, she likes to travel, experience new cultures, have dinner with family and friends, read a good book and take part in sporting activities.

Pia has a Bachelor in Primary Education, Hogeschool Antwerpen; Postgraduate reading coach, Odisee University Brussels
