Carolyn Bickerton

Director of Admissions and Marketing

Ms Carolyn Bickerton is joining (joined) BSY as the Director of Admissions and
Marketing in September 2020.

Qualification 

BA Business Administration (co majors: marketing and accounting), University of
Technology, Sydney Australia.

About

An Australian, Ms Bickerton has been living and working in Asia since 1996. She has lived in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Thailand. During her career, Carolyn has held business development (focused on client relationships) and marketing roles in a corporate environment.

While in Hong Kong, Carolyn was afforded the opportunity to become involved with the
Australian International School Hong Kong. She served on the board of the school from 1999 to 2017, and was a member of both the Development and Governance Committees. Carolyn was appointed the Director of Development and Community Relations (2002 – 2004, stepping off the board during that time) and was a member of the team that helped introduce the IB alongside the NSW Higher School Certificate.

Carolyn has also consulted to St Stephen’s College, Stanley, Hong Kong, as Interim
Director of Development and to the board of the College on a co-curricular offering.

Carolyn’s interests include reading, travel, public affairs, history and culture, art and
theatre.
