About

Mrs Hopikson joins BSY from Northern Ireland where she has been in a learning support role for four years with years 1-3. Prior to that she taught year 5 in an international school in Angola. Mrs Hopkinson grew up in England but has extensive experience of living and teaching overseas, including Nepal, Singapore, Jordan and Kenya. She particularly enjoys learning about the world around us and encourages children to look beyond any single culture, to embrace becoming a global citizen.

In her spare time Mrs Hopkinson is an avid reader and is never without a book. She also enjoys baking. There is always something good to eat in her kitchen and she is looking forward to discovering new ingredients in Thailand/Myanmar.
