Young Guests at the Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort Enjoy an Adventure in English! Regents joins forces with the Novotel Resort near Rayong to offer 'Adventures in English' While the Chulalongkorn vacation may have been a time of rest for many in Thailand, staff at both the Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort and Regents International School Pattaya were hard at work entertaining and educating young holiday-makers on 25 and 26 October. The British boarding school in Pattaya and the resort worked together to offer children on vacation two fun-filled days of English-language activities.

‘Adventures in English’ is our unique English-language activity programme, designed to show children aged between 5 and 13 how much fun learning English can be. Over the course of two days, Miss Jenny and Miss Emily – both teachers at Regents – guided the children through activities like ‘the jungle’ and ‘the underwater world’. Through these adventures, the youngsters laughed, learnt some new English phrases and created some wonderful artwork.

Benjamin Dupont of the Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort commented: “My main memory of these two days will be the sight of our young guests really enjoying their stay here! We work hard to ensure that families visiting the hotel have a great time. Our beautiful location, combined with Regents’ Adventures in English programme, meant these children headed home at the end of their vacation weekend having really enjoyed themselves. They also took away some new English words and fantastic artwork to display on the bedroom wall.”

Tim Eaton of Regents International School Pattaya commented: “As a British boarding school in Thailand, we’re a popular choice with parents, particularly those based in Bangkok who don’t want their children to spend all their time in the city. Regents is a very international school, with children of almost 50 different nationalities enrolled, but Thai families are such an important part of our community and the children we met this weekend were really enthusiastic learners.”

Both the resort and the school are looking forward to offering another round of Adventures in English later this year. For more information, contact Adventures@regents-pattaya.co.th
