Merry Christmas from Regents International School Pattaya

18 December 2015

Dear Parents and Friends

After a seemingly fleeting and busy term it’s that time of the year again when, on behalf of everybody at Regents, I am writing to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

  • Regents International School Pattaya | Boarding & Day School in Thailand

Your support for the school is, as ever, hugely appreciated. It has been lovely to see so many of you at the recent seasonal end-of-term events. Please do take some time to read the primary and secondary newsletters on-line and our social networking sites which celebrate and reflect the wide spectrum of learning opportunities and often quite amazing experiences which fill the calendar. It has been a delight to see young people’s enthusiasm and involvement and I am grateful to the staff who have worked so hard to provide such an excellent array of trips, productions, fixtures and the like which have been terrific to witness every week.

The approaching holiday will come as a welcome and well-earned rest for many. Teachers, students, boarding house colleagues, nurses, support and admin staff, housekeeping staff, maintenance, our many wonderful Thai colleagues, drivers, grounds men and women, and numerous others. Farewell and good luck to those who are departing this week. We wish you well and thank you for your valued contributions in so many ways. Well done especially to those who have wrestled with testing and examinations and a special mention to those students and staff who have completed their first term at the school. (Good luck to those older students revising for January exams!) We must not forget, of course, the important work which takes place every day in the classrooms across the school and the serious business of achieving the very best possible outcomes for every single student. I am immensely appreciative of all of your backing and support. Every day has been a pleasure and I feel honored indeed to belong to and lead such a vibrant and happy community. I look forward with optimism and energy to the school’s continuing success and thank you and everybody involved in Regents for your on-going friendship and interest. It has been another inspiring and memorable term!

I must also thank you for choosing our school. My staff and I all know how lucky we are to have such wonderful students with whom we work every day. I value the very productive and essential link with the Parents Representative Group and continue to enjoy meeting several of you at various events. For those who are travelling I hope that you journey safely and return rested and refreshed. I wish every family peace and happiness.

We look forward to seeing our boarders return on Monday 11th January 2016 and all other students on Tuesday 12th January 2016.

Best wishes and all the very best,

Iain Blaikie
