On the 1 September a new chapter opens in performing arts education at Regents, as we embark on the eagerly-anticipated Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme.

  • Regents' teachers travel to The Juilliard School in New York to prepare for new music curriculum

As one of just ten schools worldwide which will be delivering the Juilliard-developed curriculum from 1 September 2015, it is vital that our specialist music teachers are prepared, so last week both the Primary and Secondary music teams attended a week-long professional development workshop at The Juilliard School campus in New York City.

Head of Secondary Music, Emily Andrews confirmed the enthusiasm with which the music teachers are returning from their Juilliard training. “We’ve been preparing for the launch of the collaboration for several months now, but to receive this sort of training from some of the most exciting and innovative music educators in the world has been inspiring. We can’t wait to start passing that inspiration on to the students.”
