Creative Learning through Cooperation and Giving

01 December 2016

This week, Year 2 developed their cooperative skills with a range of creative learning activities.

  • Year2Trip3
  • Year2Trip4
  • Year2Trip5

Inspired by the book ‘The Gingerbread Man’, we baked our own biscuits in The Discovery Zone and used our Maths skills to create 3D festive gift envelopes.

On Tuesday and Thursday we visited our Community Partner ‘The Fountain of Life’ to enjoy our baked goods and to present the donations that we had collected over the last few weeks.  Our children enjoyed sharing some art and collaborative games with new friends. The love of learning together and sharing our ideas was a fantastic way in which we could develop our self-confidence and support others in the community.
