Horoscope Theme for IGCSE Art Coursework

13 September 2016

Year 11 student, Laura Martinelli is delighted with her Tiger print, the end result of many hours of cutting stencils.

Laura's theme for this piece of IGCSE Coursework is the horoscope and she has made studies of the different animals. For her tiger, she decided to produce a spray painted stencil print. This involved separating the image into three colours, cutting the stencils and then spray painting in layers onto a painted background to create the final piece. She is working now towards drawing together the various animal studies into a single composition for her final piece.

The quality of Laura's work is a reflection of her creative flair and hard working ethos. Well done Laura!
