Quality Assurance – the Value of External Accreditation/Inspection Between 21-25 May, Regents International School Pattaya will welcome a team of four international inspectors from the Education Development Trust (EDT) and British Schools Overseas (BSO) for a school inspection.

Between 21-25 May, Regents International School Pattaya will welcome a team of four international inspectors from the Education Development Trust (EDT) and British Schools Overseas (BSO) for a school inspection.

Here are just a few of the reasons why an accreditation is important;

1. Transforming lives by improving education around the world – an accreditation is about school improvement and enhancing teaching and learning.
2. Self-Reflection – an accreditation allows schools to self-reflect on what they are doing well, what needs to be improved and plan future school development.
3. Critical friend – an accreditation gives external international experts who work for regulated bodies (EDT/BSO) the opportunity to share expertise, advice and give external validation to school improvement projects.
4. Community – an accreditation brings together different stakeholders from the community, providing a framework for celebration, discussion and debate.
5. International standards – an accreditation raises the bar of expectations across education and school life.

In some school settings, accreditation and inspection visits can often lead educators trembling and feeling anxious. Here at Regents we have embraced our forthcoming accreditation as an opportunity to enhance our school and bring together positive change.

4. เพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามัคคีของชุมชน - การรับรองมาตรฐานโรงเรียนช่วยดึงดูดความสนใจจากหลายองค์กรในชุมชนเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองความสำเร็จด้วยกันและเพื่อทำการอภิปรายโรงเรียน
