Having had a big interest in outward bound pursuits growing up, Emma went to the States in 2013 to take up a camp counsellor position in Minnesota, teaching everything from archery to canoeing to outdoor survival skills. She was promoted to Programme Director and spent a further four summers developing and delivering camp programming across the Girl Scouts council of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys.
After graduating from university and having the experience of few summers of residential pastoral care under her belt, Emma took up the position of Graduate Boarding Assistant at Headington School Oxford. This role sparked an enthusiasm for boarding life and she went on to become a boarding tutor at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School in Surrey. In 2018 the opportunity to work at Regents, and to set up a brand new junior boys’ boarding house arose, and she has not looked back since!
In her down time Emma enjoys reading, drawing, singing, and exploring all that Thailand and Southeast Asia have to offer.
