Early Years Cubs - Launch of our Online Learning Journals

21 November 2013

We're excited to be launching 'Tapestry' our online learning journal for Early Years Cubs next week. Tapestry will enable parents to view photographs, learning observations, and videos of their children hard at work and play.

To launch Tapestry, Head of Early Years Cubs Ruth Hanson is conducting an interactive workshop in the Primary School Hall for parents to understand why we're doing this, how to use the platform and the benefits that we hope it will bring.

The Workshop will be an interactive session and comprise of a short presentation and Q&A, followed by an interactive download session, where you can download the software and trial Tapestry in the classroom.

Workshops will begin in the Primary theatre and the dates and times are as follows:

  • Pre Nursery: 8:45 - 9:45am Tuesday 26 November
  • Nursery: 8:45 - 9:45am Wednesday 27 November
  • Reception: 2:30 - 3:30pm Thursday 28 November

To make sure you get the most out of the session,  please remember to bring your own device for what we hope will be an informative and enjoyable time. You can even download the app before hand and we'll give you the log in details on the day, just search for 'tapestry mobile' in your device's app store. Tapestry works on PC, iPads, iPhones and android and we will also have our school laptops for you to use if you do not have a device you can bring.

We hope you can make it make it and look forward to seeing you there!

If you can't make the workshop and have partners or other family member that you would like to grant access to your child's journal, then please email
