Years 5 & 6 get MAD about Science

28 November 2013

Yesterday MAD Science came in to demonstrate some of their wonderful Science experiments for us as a prelude to offering an Upper Key Stage 2 BISCAP next term.

Our students really enjoyed the event and learnt a lot from the Mad Scientists. If your child is interested in signing up for MAD Science next term, don't forget to register for the BISCAP by Friday 6 December. You can download more information and a registration form at the bottom of this page.

So, what did our students have to say about the demonstation...?

"The Science evening was amazing. I had a brilliant night. All the demonstrations were really fun and it’s hard to pick my favourite, but the exploding ping pong balls were fantastic. The Scientists presenting the night were absolutely wonderful." - Liza Vasilyeva 6I

"I liked it when they hit the drum and the circle appeared.  You felt the force of the air coming towards us." - Suna Hyun and Sarah Marshall 5S

"I liked the ping pong explosion, it was awesome!  It scared some people and they even jumped up because they weren’t expecting it." - Carlo Delle Monache 5B

A huge thank you to all the students and parents who came along and made it such a successful night.
