This is the third time we have held the Chinese Proficiency Test (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi or HSK) at BISS Puxi since we were authorized by the Beijing Hanban office as the only test centre among international schools in Shanghai.
There are six different grades of test from HSK 1 to HSK 6. As the HSK 1, 3 and 5 tests are held in the afternoon and the HSK 2, 4 and 6 tests are in the morning, a good number of candidates applied for 2 tests on the same day!
We saw so many happy faces in and out of the test rooms. Parents, guardians and friends who accompanied candidates also expressed their interest in the upcoming HSK test at our school. One committed candidate came in even though she had an injured leg! We were happy to accommodate her, giving her elevator access and special test room arrangements.
The test results will come out on Monday 8 December. All candidates can go to www.chinesetesting.cn with their admission ticket number to check their scores and certification status.
Well done to everyone who sat the tests!
