What Do Literacy and Pizza Have In Common?

24 April 2014

This week Year 3 went on an exciting trip to Papa John’s. Rosie from 3P tells us all about why they went there and what they did.

  • BIss Puxi Year 3 Papa John's Visit 2014

This week Year 3 went to Papa John’s Pizza Place to make pizza.  Of course we didn’t go there for JUST fun (although it was lots of fun!) we went there because we are learning how to understand and write instructions in Literacy.

When we got there we sat down and took turns to wash our hands - we didn’t want any germs on our pizzas! Next, we were shown how to make a pizza.  After that our pizzas were put in the oven to cook.  I think most children enjoyed eating the pizza most but I didn’t, I most enjoyed ….Learning!

You’re probably wondering what I actually learned and the answer is how to write perfect instructions for making a perfect pizza, thanks to our lovely Year 3 teachers and helpers.

Maybe you could use our instructions to make a perfect pizza too! You can download my instructions below.
