Update on Arrangements for 20 and 21 May

16 May 2014

You may have seen reports that there will be some disruption in Shanghai next week due to the International Asia Conference.

We are reluctant to close the school unless we really need to. Some further information has emerged about road closures and as a result and in consultation with other SISA schools in the area we have decided that school will operate as follows.

Tuesday 20 May - The school will be open

Morning

There will be no changes to the transport arrangements or the start time of the school day.

Afternoon

School will close at 3:00pm and there will be early buses for students.

There will be no ECAs or BISCAP

The Maths GCSE exam will be started a little earlier than originally planned to ensure it finishes before the buses depart.

Students taking other exams ending after 3:00pm, will need to arrange transport independently.

Wednesday 21 May - The school will be open

Morning

There will be no changes to the transport arrangements or the start time of the school day.

Students who are taking exams should either take the school bus as normal or, if they make their own way to school, leave early to ensure that they are at school on time for their exams.

Afternoon

School will finish at the normal time and buses will run as normal, but there will be no ECAs or BISCAP.

If there are any changes to this plan, we will be in touch with details.
