Activity Week 2014 Gets Started

16 June 2014

Today saw the last of our year groups heading off on their Activity Week trip.

  • Year 12 work at a local school in Cambodia

The Year 12s arrived in Cambodia over the weekend and have been working at a local school helping with renovations by painting some of the walls around the school and its football pitch. Today and tomorrow, they will be doing some teaching and carrying on working on the renovations.

Year 9 students all arrived safely in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday, have had a good night’s sleep and are now travelling by coach up to Madagui Forest.

The Year 8 Group 1 students have arrived safely in Hohhot and are now travelling by coach to the grasslands, whilst the Year 8 Group 2 students have safely landed in Baotou.

Finally the Year 7s flew out of Hongqiao airport this morning and are on their way to Shenzhen.

A good start to the week and we’re looking forward to hearing more about what they’ve been up to each day. Keep an eye on the blog each night for updates.
