Please don't forget that if you don’t have tickets yet but still want to come along on Saturday, or have friends or family who want to join you, we will be selling tickets on the door. It really is a great event and the music is provided by the best party cover band in China, well Shanghai at least, Studio 188! To ease the anticipated traffic around the event, the school has created dedicated drop off and parking zones. Please ask your driver to comply with all requests of school personnel.
Our New Parent Programme (NPP) visit to the Flower and Korean Markets went really well and we are sure that the markets will be all the busier in the future! Keep an eye on the NPP Facebook group for more about it and all upcoming events. If you haven’t got yourself a VPN yet, try Astrill and Express VPN for starters, so that you can acess our fabulous NPP Facebook group and post something when you discover a new restaurant, bar, or place of interest.
Our next Coffee Morning, a parent get together to meet more friends, find out lots of useful information and yes, drink more coffee and eat some cake, will be at 9:30am on Friday 26 September at The Community Centre. They provide an amazingly wide range of advice and are a valued service amongst ex-pats. The coffee and cakes will be supplied through local stores and we have negotiated great rates for the morning. The address is 360 2F Xing Le Road – near Café Nar. We are expecting another good turn out and have ordered plenty of cakes.
If you have any thoughts or wish to help out on the PTA, please let one of us know at the Welcome Back Party or Coffee Morning or on the Facebook group. Have a great week and not long now before the Autumn break!
