A time of giving and receiving

19 November 2015

After weeks of hard work from the entire school, we have finally reached the allocated amount of 620 Giving Tree Bags!

  • Giving Tree Campaign

Anyone who still has Giving Tree bags, please can you bring them back as soon as possible so that they will all be back in time for the Giving Tree Ceremony on 8 December.

There will also be a Giving Tree Sorting Party on Thursday 3 December where everyone can participate in filling every single one of the 620 bags with Christmas cheer and love- a great way to start off your winter holidays and to get into the festive spirit.

Any parents wishing to help our cause as well, please contact l-coong@bisspuxi.com">Ms. Coong if you would like to help with the Giving Tree Bag Sorting or to attend the Giving Tree Ceremony.

I myself am part of the Giving Tree ECA and it has helped me greatly in fully understanding the importance of giving and being able to empathise with others. I love the excitement of opening up each bag and seeing what others had got for the Migrant children.

I'm also really looking forward to finally going to the Migrant School and giving the kids the bags and seeing their delighted faces when they receive them. Merry Christmas!
