Swimming Success for Jason

21 April 2015

Over the weekend, Jason Chang attended the Mantas 2015 invitational swim meet in Hong Kong, competing with 445 swimmers from 33 international schools and swim clubs from The Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan and China.

  • Jason from the British International School Shanghai, Puxi swam brilliantly at the Mantas invitational swim meet in Hong Kong
  • Jason from the British International School Shanghai, Puxi swam brilliantly at the Mantas invitational swim meet in Hong Kong

This is a very competitive swim meet, not only due to the numbers of elite swimmers in attendance, but because every swimmer is allowed to swim in 10 events across two days, covering four strokes in 50 and 100 meters, plus 200 IM and 200 Free.

Over two full days of competition and 10 swim events, Jason finished with five personal best records in 50m and 100m Butterfly, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle, and winning two 2nd place medals in both the 50m and 100m Backstroke in the boys age group of 15 and over.

Congratulations to Jason on a busy and successful weekend in the pool!
