Teddy Bear Sleepover in Pre-Nursery

12 May 2015

Pre-Nursery have been reading Jez Alborough’s ‘Where’s my Teddy?’ and brought their own teddies into school last week where they had a big adventure! Pre-Nursery teacher, Cindy De Borger, tells with what the teddy bears got up to.

The children prepared beds for their teddies to sleep in, but the teddies had other ideas!

The Pre-Nursery children brought their own teddy bears to school, after we read the story ‘Where’s my Teddy?’ We’ve been talking about our teddies and what they look like and learning and practising lots of new vocabulary.

The Teddy Bears had so much fun in Pre-Nursery that they decided to have a sleepover at school over the weekend.  The children made warm soft beds for them and labelled their teddies to avoid any confusion about ownership!

We tucked in the teddy bears on Friday and left them at school for the weekend, wondering what they were getting up to…

Fortunately, school security is very vigilant and caught all their adventures on camera! We played a video to the children on Monday showing what their teddies had been doing over the weekend and they were very surprised!
