First Week Back For Key Stage 3 Students Studying MFL & Mandarin

27 August 2015

With the first week of school nearly over, here is a snapshot of what Key Stage 3 students got up to this week in MFL and Mandarin classes.

Year 7 students have been analysing patterns in different World Languages and creating their own slam poetry and songs.

“Mandarin was the most interesting and unforgettable lesson today – the teacher even danced in it!" Year 7 pupil

Year 8 students have been involved in The Amazing Language Race, which has involved them finding challenges around the school and then completing an interesting range of tasks in pairs or groups.

Year 9 students learnt how to warm up their voices and use high –power poses to improve their communication skills and to feel more confidence when speaking in front of an audience.

We look forward to reporting on the range of exciting experiences our students will experience throughout the year.
