We started off kayaking around the 100-island lake where we were tasked to find clues in different areas of the lake with only a map and a hint to guide the way. It was challenging to find the areas but over the long 8 hours most of us found the words, however some of us could not.
It was the third day when everyone was most nervous. That was the first day of biking. We were expected to find our own way to a small town which was approximately 60 kilometres away, and then had to bike another 18 kilometres to our campsite. It was a very long day with over 8 hours of cycling and a few uphill stretches.
It seemed tough, but nothing compared to what was to come the next day - massive hills that we had to overcome and that pushed all of us to our limit. Even though the trip was physically exhausting, it was also full of fun from kayak polo to cooking next to the lake. It was a trip that will not be forgotten.
The most memorable quote was from Sang Won “IA is the best choice anyone could make, just don’t forget biking pants!”
