There were very few nerves this time, with many students making huge leaps forward with their confidence and performing skills.
From reception to Year 11, there were over 50 students performing over 3 hours of music to a very appreciative audience. Instruments included the piano, drums, cello, violin, flute and some fabulous singers. We even had Jago in Year 1 who performed his own composition on the Chinese drum!
Many thanks to all the staff who supported the event and well done to all our fantastic performers!
Here some thoughts from the performers themselves below:
Zoe 4I ‘I felt a little bit shy but once I started playing I felt much better!’
Asia 5S ‘I had a cold so I was nervous that I wouldn’t hit the high notes, but I got onto the stage and managed to do it! I also enjoyed listening to everyone else perform.’
Joelle 1B ‘It was exciting for me to sing and I was scared but I think I sang well.’
Great work by everyone.
