20 April 2016

Over the past two weeks, the children have been learning about emergency services and ‘people who help us’ in our local area.

We created our own fire engines and practiced being fire fighters in the classroom. We were very excited about the trip but we didn’t expect it to be quite as exciting as it was!

The children loved looking around the fire fighters quarters but the best part of all was the big fire engine.

The fire fighters put on the big hose pipe and even let us sit inside the fire engine. What an exciting experience!
