Christmas Is Coming

16 November 2017

Christmas is coming! We would like everyone to be able to celebrate Christmas with friends and family so we will be holding a Christmas Fair!

  • Christmas Raffle

This year the Christmas Fair will be even bigger and better than ever, with a food court, gift shops, games, a charity raffle and other entertainment. Also, there is a rumour that Santa will also be around the fair soaking up the festive spirit!  The parents of the PET have organised lots of amazing food and vendors so that you can all do some Christmas shopping.  The Christmas Fair would not be possible without the hard work and organisation from the parents of the PET and our school marketing department.  We would like to thank them for all the support they have given us.    We welcome you all to come and celebrate Christmas with us on December the 2nd

As always, we, the CAS Leaders will have booths set up for our charity, the Indo-China Starfish Foundation (ISF) and we will be in charge of the games and the raffle. We all became CAS Leaders as we all wanted to be able to spread awareness about this charity. Please be aware that all profits made in those booths will be going to our ISF donation, and even the smallest amount of money will go a long way.

To make this year’s Christmas Fair the best, we will be holding a raffle and anyone can join! We have a variety of gifts such as gift cards, wines, accessories, and more. It is not too late for you to donate a gift for the raffle, if you would like to donate please get in touch with Paloma (palomaulloa@gmail.com) a member of the CAS Leader group.

What kind of Fair would it be if there aren’t any scrumptious cakes, cookies, muffins, and other delicious desserts! We will be holding a bake sale during the Christmas Fair but we need HELP! We are short of volunteers for the bake sale and we need everyone’s help! If you are interested in baking desserts for the Christmas Fair please contact Dayoung a member of the CAS Leader group.

Not only would it be wonderful if we could have a variety of delicious desserts, it would be even better if we could sell a variety of toys and books! The books and toys sold in the Christmas Fair will be second-hand through the donations from students, parents, and teachers! There are boxes in both Primary and Secondary Reception for the donations and we would love it if we could fill those boxes up. If you have any books or toys that you couldn’t donate before that Christmas Fair, you can still bring it on the day of the Fair for us to sell but it would be best if it is donated beforehand. Just as a reminder, the toys and books still have to be in good condition for someone else to use.

With all these marvelous booths happening, students who are interested in helping out in one of our game booths such as ‘Sponge the Teacher’ if would be great if you could email Pippa, a member of the CAS Leader Group.

It is the time of the year where everyone can come together for Christmas and being able to help out a charity with such love and support! Please come and join us on December 2nd at BISS and support the ISF and have fun with all the games, entertainment, and food! Hope to see you all there!
