Year 7 Spelling Bee 2017

On Wednesday 13 December 2017, Year 7 students took part in the annual Spelling Bee. Students had the Autumn term to prepare for the competition and it was an exciting one.

Four classes competed in two different tasks: the group task and the individual task. In the group task, students worked as a team to spell as many words as they could correctly. Congratulations to Ms Wright’s class for successfully spelling the highest number of words correctly. In the challenging individual task, Dido Wu (7S) became the Spelling Bee champion, spelling the hardest words in the competition correctly. A big congratulations to everyone who took part this year!
