Jodeln, Apfelschorle und Brezeln - Year 7 Discover the Tastes of Germany

30 March 2017

Within the International Week, our Year 7 students went on a 4D “Discovery Germany” session.

  • IFE - German
  • IFE - German
  • IFE - German

They witnessed how skilled are BISS teachers in jodeling, recognizing German cars, counting in German, saying German tongue-twisters and even read the never-ending German words. Year 7 German students prepared a video-report to inspire other peers to try and learn German.

After a challenging quiz where Black, Red and Gold teams were competing in their knowledge about German traditions, facts and places the students then got a real taste of Brezels and Apfelschorle. The traditional German Apfelschorle was mixed and served by Year 7 German students along with fresh-baked Brezels for everyone to try!
