On 19th March our Charity committee hosted a Workshop for the Huaxin Rehabilitation and Education Centre. This workshop was completely student led under the leadership of Khushi Tuli, the charity leader. The Committee worked really hard to give the parents and the children a great time.
The workshop started with a warm welcome to the parents and the children. The committee then hosted a singing workshop for the parents where they were taught classics like Twinkle-twinkle little star and Do re mi. For the children, a number of activities were hosted to improve their sensory skills. These included colouring, feeling different textures and also playing different instruments. By lunch time the committee took the children and the parents to the cafeteria to enjoy some lunch.
This was a great opportunity for the students to connect with their local community and to work towards our global goal of providing a quality education.
