In literacy this week we will be beginning to look at the book ‘Millions’ to co-incide with the launch of our new topic ‘If I Ruled the World’. We will begin to get to know the characters, explore their motivations and try and look at the world from their perspective. We will then build up to writing a letter from the point of view of the children’s teacher.
In Maths this week we will be looking at angles. We will revise how to use a protractor to measure and draw angles accurately, using these skills toconstruct triangles and pentagons. We will also investigate the angles formed by intersecting lines and consider how to calculate missing angles.
This week is the launch of our exciting new topic ‘If I Ruled the World’.
