Please note that the ECA/BISCAP programme finishes this week.  The Term 2 registration programme is now open.

  • Raincoat - Please ensure that your child brings a raincoat to school for the wet weather.
  • Swimming - Please be aware that the days are getting colder and wetter so please dress your child accordingly.  On swimming days girls may wear dark leggings and matching dark socks instead of tights to make it easier for them to get dressed.  A warm hat is also recommended.
  • School holiday- Please note that school will be closed to pupils on Monday 14 November and Tuesday 15
  • Year 2 Learning Showcase – 9th December you are invited to attend the Year Two showcase where the children will show you what they have been learning during their Buildings topic in their Themed Learning lessons. The showcase will begin at 1:30 in the Year 2 classrooms and end at approximately 3:00pm.

This week the children will complete their two week project, to write a story that will showcase all the learning they have undertaken this term. They will be encouraged to ‘show what they know!’ as they write their own retelling of a famous traditional tale. Once they have completed the story they will edit and improve their work using help cards and partner work.
