Next week, in STEAM learning, the children will be completing a range of tasks in preparation for their time in the Da Vinci Centre. The children are now really embedding their core skills into each lesson and are developing a good understanding of how these skills are useful and required across all of their learning. We will continue our focus on how we can use the core skill ‘compassion’. This skill focuses children on other people’s emotions and they learn how to empathise with others and act accordingly. We will also talk about compassion in relation to being giving and kind. This fits well with the school’s current charity project ‘the Giving tree’
