James Lee Year 6

BISS Puxi is an amazing school. It has all sorts of activities, festivals, events and more. My favourite subject in school is computing, we learn lots of stuff to do with computers. For example, now we are learning how to use Scratch. Scratch is a programme that lets us make game animations and so on. It is really fun.

We have other subjects like Numeracy, themed learning, literacy, PE and art. In PE we play sports like football, swimming, tennis and T-ball. I really like T-ball, it is a game like baseball, but instead of throwing the ball to the batter, the ball is put on a stick called a tee. I really like art as well because we so all sorts of drawing, painting, colouring and sketching.

We have lots of festivals like the Christmas fair, Summer and Winter concerts and drama productions. We sometimes have special people come to school like book authors and people from charity projects like The Giving Tree. I really like the Christmas fair because you can buy food and play games.  This year I’m running one of the games at the fair – it is an old Korean game and it is very fun.

We also have a sports day. For sports day we compete in our houses. At BISS Puxi there are 4 houses which are: Jin Mao (red), Chang Chang (blue), Huang He (yellow) and my house which is Tai shan (green). We play lots of sports and at the end one of the houses wins.

The good thing about BISS Puxi is that it improves every year. The library always has new books and it looks great. I really like the library, I’m pretty sure everyone will like the library.

You can make friends with people from different nationalities at BISS Puxi because people from all sorts of countries come to our school. The teachers are also from different countries. The teachers are very nice.

As I said BISS Puxi is a really good school. I think everyone should come to school here. Please join us at BISS Puxi, a lovely school that everyone likes!
