Dan graduated with a PGCE from Bishop Grosseteste University College, Lincoln, UK, in 2007, and has been teaching for over 10 years. He has taught and led a range of year groups across the Primary School phase during this time, in schools in London, Bangkok and Shanghai.
Since starting at BISS in 2015, Dan has taught and held a middle leadership role as Year 4 leader. Whilst doing this, he worked closely with the senior leadership team on a number of projects, using both his pedagogical expertise and his knowledge of BISS and the international school community. He is now excited about the opportunity to work with a wider range of students in the role of Assistant Head.
Dan has a keen interest in watching and playing sports, and enjoys spending time out of school doing this, particularly football and tennis. Dan has also coached school football teams with varying degrees of success. He enjoys reading books about various parts of the world, as well as listening to and discovering new music to add to his ever growing collection.
