Neil Jarrett has been a primary teacher for 8 years.  He began his career in London, UK and then moved to an international school in Bangkok, Thailand. Attending the University of Plymouth, UK, he achieved a Bachelor of Education degree with First Class Honours.  Afterwards, he completed a Master of Education degree (with distinction).

Having visited BISS Puxi 2 years ago as part of a FOBISIA maths tournament, he was very impressed with the ethos and facilities and jumped at the chance of joining when the opportunity arose. Neil is an enthusiastic writer and runs a successful blog about educational technology: EDTECH4BEGINNERS.  Furthermore, he has published articles for several, well-known titles including the Times Education Supplement (TES) and Edutopia.  To relax, Neil likes to read, learn Mandarin and socialise.  He is also a keen long distance runner; taking part in a number of marathons.
