Neil Jarrett
B. Ed. (Hons), P.G. Cert., P.G. Dip., M. Ed (Merit)
Neil has been a primary teacher for twelve years. He began his career in London and then moved to an international school in Bangkok. Attending the University of Plymouth, UK, he achieved a Bachelor of Education Degree with First Class Honours. Afterwards, he completed a Master's of Education Degree with distinction.
Having previously visited BISS Puxi as part of a FOBISIA Maths tournament, Neil was very impressed with the ethos and facilities at the school and jumped at the chance of joining the team when the opportunity arose. Neil is an enthusiastic writer and runs a successful blog about educational technology. Furthermore, he has published articles for several, well-known titles including the Times Education Supplement (TES) and Edutopia.
To relax, Neil likes to read, learn Mandarin and socialise. He is also a keen long distance runner; taking part in a number of marathons.
