Head of Science
After gaining his Bachelor's and then Master’s Degree in Engineering at the University of Exeter, UK, Alexander worked as a Systems Analyst, before taking his PGCE in Physics at the University of Hull in 2004. Since then, he has been Head of Physics at the prestigious Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur and also at schools in Brentwood and Nottingham, UK, taking a significant number of students successfully to places at Oxbridge.

Chemistry Teacher
Toni graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and then, attended The Institute of Education to gain her PGCE in Secondary Science. She worked in a school in East London for two years before coming to Shanghai to start her international educational journey.
Marc graduated from Exeter University, UK with a BSc (Hons) in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry and then, went on to study a Master's in Biological Chemistry, before completing his PGCE in Science (Chemistry specialism). Marc is passionate about teaching and strongly believes in a hands-on, practical approach to learning.
Biology Teacher, Student Leadership and CAS Coordinator
Ling is a graduate of The University of Sheffield, where she studied Neuroscience. Having found inspiration in following a career in teaching whilst in Tokyo, where she was teaching English as a Second Language, she completed a PGCE at Leeds University.
Physics Teacher
Francis graduated from the University of Sheffield and returned to his college to assist in the teaching of Physics as a learning mentor. This positive experience of working with young people led to him enrolling into King's College London to gain a PGCE in secondary education.
Head of Computing Science
Nathaniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education from the Queensland University of Technology. He is passionate about computers, technology and programming both inside and outside of the classroom. He worked in the IT industry for a number of years as a programmer and systems administrator before becoming a teacher and he brings this wealth of experience to his lessons.
Biology Teacher
Rosemary graduated from the University of Southampton in 2002 with a degree in Biochemistry and Pharmacology. She then went on to complete her PGCE at the University of Warwick. Since then, she has held a number of roles in comprehensive schools in the Midlands including Second in Science, acting Head of Science and more recently Lead Practitioner of Whole School.
Computing Science Teacher
Mala gained a BSC Honours in Computer Science from the University of Essex and followed this by completing her PGCE at Brunel University, London. From there, she has worked in various positions in London, initially as a teacher of Computer Science, progressing to Head of Department across a range of schools.
