Janneke van de Griendt
BA, MA, PGCSE
Janneke obtained a Master’s Degree in Dutch Language and Culture from Leiden University in The Netherlands. After graduating, she participated in the Dutch Teach First Programme. She started working as a teacher, did research at the Dutch Ministry of Education and obtained a teaching degree from the University of Amsterdam.
Barbara finished her Bachelor of Education degree in 1996 and worked with children in different age groups in primary schools in The Netherlands. Sixteen years ago, she left The Netherlands and moved to Oman. There she taught as a homeroom teacher at the PDO School in the Dutch stream and Dutch as a second language to children in the international stream.
