Corona virus - School Closure

In consultation with our Regional Nord Anglia Education team,  the decision has been made to close BIS Hanoi campus for students for the rest of this week. At this moment in time, students should return to school on Monday 10th February.

Corona Virus

Dear Parents,

I would like to provide an update on the situation regarding the corona virus, as promised in my email yesterday.

Yesterday evening, the Hanoi People’s Committee advised that all schools in Hanoi should close this week. In consultation with our Regional Nord Anglia Education team,  the decision has been made to close BIS Hanoi campus for students for the rest of this week. At this moment in time, students should return to school on Monday 10th February.

I realise that some of you will be unhappy by this decision. Students’ learning is important to us and learning tasks will be sent remotely to your child/children on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Teachers will be in school and available to ensure students have chance for interaction via learning platforms. Further details will be sent from the Head of Primary and Head of Secondary later today.

Thank you for your patience and support,

Sue Hill

Principal
