Edward Westropps BIS Hanoi 2018

Assistant Head of Pastoral Care / Science Teacher

Edward began his teaching career in 2006, initially teaching science at St Michael’s RC Secondary School in London as part of the Teach First programme, before taking the role of deputy head of the science department at the school. He then moved to San Andres in Buenos Aires where he taught science and IB biology as well as travelling extensively in South America. This was followed by 2 years in the UK working as an aspiring AST at the London Academy before moving to BIS Hanoi. His main interests include sport in which he has developed a particular passion for cycling since moving to Hanoi, both listening to and playing music and also travelling the world to experience its different cultures, scenery and wildlife.
