Staff Profile: Niobe Shaw

Niobe Shaw Profile BIS Hanoi

PGCE (Teach First) - Canterbury Christ Church University


Niobe is originally from the United Kingdom and graduated from the University of Exeter before completing the Teach First Leadership Development Programme with Canterbury Christ Church University. This is her first time teaching in an international school, but she has 3 years’ experience teaching children with English as an additional language in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 at a primary school in Peterborough. During her time teaching, Niobe has also coordinated RE, Assemblies and Values and has enjoyed running a weekly cookery club. Niobe is passionate about ensuring children develop academic, creative and social skills within an engaging environment.

In addition to teaching, Niobe loves to explore new cities and countries and also enjoys cooking, baking, art, photography and graphic design.
