Donna Whittaker

Donna Whittaker portrait

Year 5 Teacher

•   Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Primary Education with QTS, University of Winchester, UK

Donna graduated from the University of Winchester in 2004 with a degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. Donna taught in Poole, England for 17 years within the primary and middle school age ranges. She predominantly taught across key stage 2 with 9 years teaching in Year 6 but does have experience across the primary and middle age range. During her time teaching she also took on many additional roles. She was interim deputy head and led on curriculum changes and assessment. In her more recent role, she was a Head of Year of a 5-form entry school. She also worked closely with the Department for Education on developing test materials and standard setting in key stage 2 and has been a local authority moderator for writing. This is Donna’s first teaching position internationally. 

In her free time, Donna enjoys reading, swimming and playing tennis, as well as meeting new people and sharing new experiences.
