Highlights from our primary school this month
We recently received our results for the International Standard Assessment (ISA) tests. The results show significant improvement from last school year. Congratulations to all our students and teachers!
Our primary choir recently performed a lovely lunchtime concert for their parents. It was very well recieved and we look forward to more performances in the future.
The Design Club, led by Mr David Bailey, Head of Design and Club Leader, enables students to engage interactively with the processes of learning and fun. The club’s primary students in Grades 4 and 5 have been learning how to use Computer Aided Design software to develop 3D models and 2D sketches. This September we will be developing a new technology called Digital Light Processing, which will enable their designs to be created in a ‘liquid bath’, but to a level of precision and detail not yet seen at ICS. Who knows what’s coming next?
