We will challenge your child to develop the skills, values and confidence necessary to become a responsible, positive contributor to society; a global leader who will act and speak to make their world a better place.
Regents truly is a Global Campus. Since 2001 we have embedded a unique Global Citizenship programme across the curriculum from Early Years through to graduation. This takes several different forms.
COMMUNITY SERVICE AND PARTNERSHIPS
We use partnerships with community groups and service-related experiences in Thailand and further afield to develop in our students an appreciation for responsible citizenship, an awareness of how people from other backgrounds live their lives, and other valuable social and emotional life skills. This includes a major project in Tanzania in collaboration with other Nord Anglia schools: click here for the project video on YouTube.
THE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMME
The Exchange Programme at Regents has now been running for over eight years. It enables students to visit and study at schools around the world which share our philosophy of education.
GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AWARD
The School’s unique ‘Global Citizenship Award’ is undertaken by all students aged between 7 and 18. It challenges them to explore aspects of their education which are not otherwise celebrated and measured by traditional forms of assessment: cultural awareness, public speaking, personal challenge and adventure, leadership, self-confidence and more.
OUTDOOR EDUCATION
There are many things which make an education at Regents stand out, and our belief in the importance of Outdoor Education is one of them. Outdoor Education is enriching and rewarding, encourages personal growth, perseverance and individual and collective commitment to a common goal, one of life’s most powerful learning experiences.
