What is our Virtual School Experience?

With our Early Years virtual school, your child takes part in real-time lessons designed to capture their attention and have fun with learning activities online and offline. These lessons are personalised to your child's strengths and needs, and developed by our expertly trained teachers to grow our youngest minds. 

What can you expect?

Inspiring lessons from your child’s teacher make every virtual school day an engaging one. Your Early Years child will enjoy:   

• Live lessons with their class teacher every day using a safe and secure platform 

• A balance of online learning and offline time to be independent  

• Time to explore, develop essential skills and a chance for the children to be hands-on in their own learning 

• Regular encouragement and feedback from their teachers throughout the day 

Our teachers are also there to support parents so they know what their child should be learning and give regular updates on your child’s achievements.

• Parents can view the daily timetable on Microsoft Teams. The school day starts at 8.20am with a warm welcome and registration from class teachers 

• Parents and children have a 1-2-1 guided Teams introduction from class teachers before joining the first lesson

• All children receive a ‘Discovery Bag’ with resources that children will use during virtual lessons

• Small, guided group work led by class teachers supports children’s progress and development

• All powerpoints and PDFs for children are accessible by all parents on Microsoft Teams throughout the day

• Teachers plan opportunities for children to be independent and make choices about their learning
