Philip Howard

Philip Howard

Head of Year 6 (Class 6S)

Philip holds a BA (Hons) degree in Education Studies from the University of Greenwich. He then went on to complete a School Centered Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) course through TKAT in South-East London and Bexley, Kent.

Philip has worked in the education sector for the past 5 years, initially as a teaching assistant, before then completing his teacher training. Philip has worked across both KS1 and KS2 and is currently enjoying his second year in 4R at Regents.

Philip’s first foray into teaching came back in 2009 when he worked as a gap student at Regents International School Pattaya, and after such a wonderful experience, he returned home to England to secure his teaching qualifications. Philip re-joined in 2016, along with his wife Teresa who is teaching in Year 1.

Outside of teaching Philip represents a number of different Pattaya based sports teams and enjoys all manner of sports, including football, rugby, tennis and golf. He is also a keen gardener and cook.
