NURTURING EARLY CHILDHOOD LEARNERS

Distinctive to our campus facilities, our dedicated Early Childhood area is located at ground level and features open spaces that nurture and stimulate our youngest learners, as they grow their confidence and independence.

Following the Reggio Emilia approach of encouraging the child to take the lead, our colorful spaces allow safe indoor and outdoor play and include specialist music and movement areas.

STEAM SPACES

READY FOR INNOVATION

Our Technology and Innovation Center is at the heart of campus and fully supports Middle and High School students across all STEAM projects and activities.

Arranged as a “learning commons,” this center connects our classrooms with MIT-inspired makerspaces, digital design studios, and seven state-of-the-art science laboratories (including those used for robotics, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, and physics) to ensure MET students can explore the full cycle of “design thinking” with different materials and methods.

We also host a media center equipped with iMacs and 3D printers for multiple design and creation activities.

FLOURISHING IN THE ARTS

SPOTLIGHTS FOR CREATIVITY

Our Performing Arts areas include spacious, high-tech dance, drama, and music studios that house all activities of our robust arts curriculum, designed for teachers to implement the Juilliard Creative Classroom. Developed in collaboration with The Juilliard School, this extraordinary online collection of educational resources enhance our performing arts curriculum.

We’re also proud to boost our students’ creativity with:

A flexible, multi-use, Black Box theatre for school-wide performances and assemblies.
Three dedicated fine arts studios for students in the visual arts.

Our outdoor sports fields and indoor athletics facilities provide our athletes with the refined spaces and equipment they need to train and compete successfully in inter-school competitions.

They’re fully supported to benefit from our diverse sports curriculum, as they build their physical skills and enrich their mental well-being.

Our sports and athletics facilities include:

A six-lane swimming pool.
A FIFA-sized, AstroTurf soccer field, plus a 5-side pitch.

The MET’s integration of leading educational technology throughout campus gives our students access to unlimited research material as well as dynamic, interactive learning content. Our 1-to-1 technology device deployment program with Apple iPads or MacBooks also empowers students to take charge of their own learning and turns all our spaces into centers of student-directed inquiry.

RESEARCH, STUDY, AND COLLABORATION

VIBRANT STUDY SPACE

Our Library and Resource Center welcomes all students, encouraging them to build their research skills with the help of our on-hand specialists. They also can study with or collaborate with peers using our open library workspaces.

Among our High School students, in Grades 11 and 12, we offer a special IB Suite for the rigorous study required in our IB Diploma Programme. This suite includes dedicated quiet and collaboration areas, plus connections to our IBDP Coordinator and College Counseling office — so our students are well supported in preparing for their Diploma exam, making applications to world-leading universities, and carving out exciting futures.
