A huge congratulations!

In Secondary assembly, Head of Science Mr. Scott MacKinnon talked about "Practice makes perfect". Practice is when you take the time and effort, and perform something repeatedly. He used science evidence to prove that repetition (ie. in pop songs!) helps you remember things. Mr. MacKinnon suggested that after their Vietnam residential trip, they should start planning to study everyday using the timetable worksheet even when they don't have homework. Mr. David Robinson, Miss Charlotte Bovingdon and Mr. Alex Lopes also shared their inspiring and motivating stories of practice which makes competence, which in turn makes confidence.

Lastly, Mrs. Simone Reid reminded them all to start thinking tonight about packing for their journey to Vietnam using their packing list. If they have any questions, they should contact Mrs. Reid tonight or latest tomorrow morning.
