NAIS Pudong Scholarships
Earlier this month, as part of the Living Legacies series, our school had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Chen, an associate professor of economics and parent of an eighth-grade student, to speak to our Grade 10–12 students. In her lecture, Ms. Chen explored the causes and effects of the U.S.–China tariff dispute, blending professional insight with personal experience to bring the topic to life.
Connecting the topic to students’ prior understanding of economics, she led a thoughtful discussion on the everyday economic implications of the tariff dispute. The engaging and thought-provoking session left students inspired and eager to learn more.
Last week, NAIS Pudong Primary School hosted a fascinating "Vintage Artifacts Show & Tell" lecture for Year 5 and Year 6 students, aiming to deepen their appreciation for Chinese cultural heritage.
